1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 package saltine crackers
2 cups chocolate chips
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with foil and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes, then pour the mixture over the saltines.
Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Once melted, spread the chocolate evenly and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Let it cool, then break into pieces.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the toffee mixture.
