  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound pasta (such as ziti)
  • 3 cups béchamel sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in a large skillet until crisp, then remove and crumble.
  3. Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper, then simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. In a large baking dish, combine the pasta, meat sauce, and crumbled bacon.
  7. Pour the béchamel sauce over the pasta mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
