- 12 manicotti shells
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, pepper, and basil. Mix well.
- Fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed manicotti in the dish and top with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
