A delicious and easy slow cooker recipe for Mongolian beef that is perfect for any night of the week.

  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup green onions

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak into thin strips and place it in the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. In the last hour of cooking, add the broccoli and cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
  6. Garnish with green onions before serving.
